What We Did

This new build primary school facility provides fourteen classrooms, ALN (additional learning needs) classrooms, hall, and staff/administration areas.

Davies Partnership carried out the full MEP design working in close collaboration with the Architect and Structural engineer to ensure a highly coordinated design and trouble-free installation of the BIM Level 2 project. An MEP Clerk of Works role was carried out during the construction phase with our Sustainability team leading on low carbon design and preparing the Part L compliance models which has seen the project recently awarded BREEAM ‘Excellent’.

Additional MEP highlights include mixed mode natural and mechanical ventilation to classrooms, high efficiency gas fired condensing boilers, low energy lighting, photovoltaic panels, and sprinklers.

The project was successfully handed over in October 2020.
