What We Did

The project was part of a multi-million pound modernisation process to enhance the school which involved the new build of the state-of-the-art school to replace the previous one.

Davies Partnership were appointed to provide the full MEP design services for the scheme which comprised the supply, delivery, installation, and testing and commissioning of the complete mechanical and electrical installations. This included hot and cold water services, LPHW heating, heat pump installation, general lighting installations, security alarm, and access control equipment.

The school was awarded ‘Best New Build in Wrexham’ by the Wrexham Civic Society at an awards ceremony shortly after completion.

What They Said

We worked with Davies Partnership on the Hafod Y Wern new primary school project in Wrexham. This was procured by Wrexham County Borough Council as a D&B scheme and throughout the design process and works on site we had an excellent working relationship with the M&E engineers working on the project. The design was a great collaborative experience, and we would be happy to work with them again. We have no hesitation in recommending Davies Partnership.
