What We Did
With a history dating back to the 16th century, the Castle Hotel has become one of the finest places to stay in Windsor. Located opposite Windsor Castle, the hotel consists of 108 rooms and offers guests a truly luxurious experience.
Davies Partnership were engaged by the hotel in 2017 to provide the mechanical and electrical design services for the refurbishment of the meetings, incentives, conventions, and events (MICE) facility.
The mechanical design duties for the project included AC, mechanical ventilation, domestic hot and cold water services, above ground drainage, and the installation of sanitary ware, whilst electrical design duties included electrical distribution, general lighting and power installations, security services alterations, and telecommunications / data systems.
In 2019 Davies Partnership designed and project managed the replacement of the main kitchen ventilation plant along with modifications to the ventilated ceiling, specialist extract canopies and a new improved control system.
More recently Davies Partnership designed and tendered the replacement of the air conditioning system to the Park bedroom block which has not yet proceeded due to the pandemic.
