MIPIM 2020 Postponed to June

REED MIDEM, the organiser of MIPIM has announced that the event has been postponed until June amid growing concerns relating to the coronavirus (Covid-19).

The rescheduled date is 2-5th of June with the initial event supposed to have been taking place this week 10-13th March. Though the final decision to postpone the event came from the organisers, several businesses had already pulled out due to concerns of the potential staff health issues.

The CEO of REED MIDEM, Paul Zilk said that “The well-being of our clients and staff is our priority. Given the evolving context, the best course of action is to postpone MIPIM to June. This is not a decision we have taken lightly. We believe these new dates will provide the international MIPIM community with the opportunity to achieve their business objectives. We are grateful to our clients for their support and constructive input during this challenging period, and we look forward to talking with them in the coming days about MIPIM in June.”

Further details are to be announced over the next week so we will continue to monitor the situation and post any updates here as well as on our LinkedIn and Twitter accounts.
