This Grade ll listed building had been lying unused for a number of years. The client could see the potential of the site for office accommodation for the local Maintenance Delivery Unit (MDU) and made use of the buildings generous dimensions to provide an airy and comfortable space. A full survey of the site which included some specialist contractor coordination by ourselves was undertaken. The Network Rail Best Practice for Maintenance Delivery Units Guide was the driving document for a successful outcome of the project. The final scheme was handed over on time and on budget.
