Alexandra CP School, Wrexham

Project Overview

The project was for a new extension to an existing school in Wrexham and was one of four schools that were chosen for extension / refurbishment and let in a single batch. The school had to be kept fully operational during the construction phase so careful collaboration had to be undertaken for the phasing of works including continuity of services. The scheme was very successful and school now have an excellent facility for the expanding educational needs of the community.

Our appointment included the design of the Mechanical & Electrical Building services and the provision of thermal modelling for Building Regulations Part L (Wales). Our input was also included in the soft play area and outdoor learning space. The project has been handed over on time and on budget and has been very well received by the client and pupils.
