Davies Partnership were employed by Willmott Partnership Homes to undertake a review of the M&E design (prepared by the sub-contractor) on the Little Lane project, a £5M, 39 unit apartment development in Wigan. Due to their experience in this sector they recognised that the mechanical design was not in accordance with the Employers Requirement and quickly moved to propose a suitable resolution.

Davies Partnership directed and supported the mechanical sub-contractor to develop a compliant design which saved installation time and overall costs. Davies Partnership made a valuable contribution to the project by reducing costs and meeting the programme.

We would have no hesitation in employing Davies Partnership on future projects.

Davies Partnership were appointed as M&E Consultants on the Marwood Towers project for Liverpool Mutual Homes which comprised the refurbishment of a 14 storey tower block together with 24 New Build apartments.

They were originally employed to provide a performance specification but were then retained by the Client to monitor the construction phase activity.

As the Employer’s Agent I found Tony McDonnell and Richard Lewis to be dedicated and valuable members of the team, attending meetings, checking installations and dealing with M&E queries promptly and effectively. Sometimes going ”the extra mile” beyond their brief to make sure the project delivery was on target.

The scheme was handed over within agreed timescales and on budget and is recognised by all concerned as a great success.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Davies Partnership for future projects and look forward to working with them again.

It is with pleasure that I write this testimonial for Terry Nolan and the Davies Partnership. This testimonial acknowledges the excellent work undertaken during the relighting works at the Grade II* listed church of St Monica.

During this work Terry showed great design flair and vision to produce a scheme that greatly enhances a building, which is of great architectural significance. Terry was faced with the challenge of reconditioning light fittings taken from a closed church. We are delighted with the end result, with the refurbished lights fitting seamlessly into their new environment. It is like they have always been there.

Probably the most impressive aspect of the scheme is the introduction of feature lighting to the reredos. What was already an impressive feature can now be lit during evening services and the overall affect is breathtaking.I found Terry a pleasure to deal with. He was courteous and professional at all times. There was good communication from the start to completion of the project. The project was also delivered on budget and the finances were managed carefully throughout.

Finally, the Parish of St Monica and the Archdiocese are delighted with the outcome of this project and we thank Terry and the team for role they have played.

The Davies Partnership have provided a highly professional service. They have shown commitment, added value and have been driven by a solution focused mentality adopting a   great attention to detail. In particular, Tony & Richard have drawn on their many years of experience which has been of immeasurable importance to the project team throughout the M&E design. They have been a great asset to the project team during construction and I certainly would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Tattu Manchester was our first large scale restaurant operation, therefore we required a great deal of assistance and step by step guidance on the M&E installation. Davies Partnership went over and above what we could have hoped for in providing us with a complete scheme from start to finish. They offered unrivalled personal service and were on hand throughout to deal with any complications that arose efficiently and quickly. We could not be happier with the product they delivered and they made the process simple and transparent. We will without question be utilising their services on any future operations.
